Tomorrow is a special day in Maryland.
Special Olympics Maryland will once again host The Maryland State Police Polar Bear Plunge at Sandy Point State Park.
The annual fundraising event rallies participants to brave the frigid, 34-degree waters of the Chesapeake Bay in support of the 7,549 athletes of Special Olympics Maryland. Donations allow the Special Olympics program to offer statewide training to athletes at no cost.
If you have already made a donation or are taking the plunge yourself – or both – SIEGELLAW thanks you for your support.
If you have not yet had an opportunity to participate in the plunge, kindly consider a donation in honor of our attorney Myriem Seabron.
In addition to her work for SIEGELLAW, Myriem is the Public Awareness Committee Co-Chair of the Maryland State Bar Association, as well as an active member of the Maryland Association for Justice.
Donations to the plunge can be made on Myriem’s personal fundraising page. All contributions are greatly appreciated. For amounts under $25, click on “Donate,” then scroll to the bottom of the page and click on “Enter an Amount.”
Thank you to everyone who supports Special Olympics Maryland. Contributions to this annual fundraiser allow the organization to continue its amazing work.
